Not all women’s reading glasses are the same. Before you buy a pair of
readers, you should know your exact need in seeing things clearly.
And women are
like their reading glasses. No two women are alike.
Even if you
can readily buy a pair of reading glasses over the counter or through an online
purchase, it always pays to spend time assessing your specific needs before
your place your order.
Do you
struggle to read with the paper away from your face? Can you see things, or read text in clear
vision, even at a distance? Do your eyes
squint too often when in front of your computer screen? These are just some of the questions you
should answer as honestly as you can before you make a decision as to what
style of women’s reading glasses to buy.
Full Frames or Half-Frames
When does one use full-frameglasses? When you find text blurry when
you read it at close range, or when reading consumes a great deal of your time
at work, you would need the full use of your lenses, thus full-frame women’s reading glasses
are your best choice.
However, for people who need correction eyeglasses only when
reading text intermittently, half-frame reading glasses would be good enough.
And of course, for those who can’t resist the sun,
sun-readers fitted with UV-protective
lenses are also available. Tinted reading glasses also belong in this category. With a pair of sun-readers on, you no
longer put down a Danielle Steele paperback while relaxing near the pool or at
the beach simply because the sun is up.
For women who “live
and breathe”
technology, and who are spending a lot of time before their computer screens, you
can now protect your eyes with anti-glare
women’s
reading glasses. Just like other styles
of reading glasses, this techie-friendly
type of eyewear now comes in different designs, colors and frames.
Don’t Skip This Part
Cleaning your reading glasses regularly with soft cloth and
making sure they are not placed, with their lenses flat, against a rough
surface is one of those ways you can make your eyewear lasts a long time. Remember that caring for your pair of women’s reading glasses
is making an investment towards your most important resource – your eyesight.
This is great information! I wish I knew half of those things when I needed reading glasses. Before I went to Bay Area LASIK, I could never find the right pair of reading glasses. I had no idea that there were so many. But I am just so glad that now I don't need the glasses at all. Thanks for this post, I am going to pass it onto my sister who still has her reading glasses.
