Trendy Reading Glasses and Tips for a More Fashionable You

Trendy reading glasses can do wonders on how you look.  You can jazz up a simple get-up of plain denims and a dainty-looking shirt with a pair of women’s reading glasses and you would not look boring at all.  Try on a few pairs that come in various frame sizes and colors, and match these with items in your closet that you rarely wear; you will be surprised at your transformation before the mirror.  Today, trendy reading glasses give you no reasons to look dull or unexciting.  It’s the right time to shine!

However, be wary about wearing just any pair of trendy reading glasses.  Not because they are trendy, they can be right for you.  Also, don’t fall into the trap of “star-power” – those ads you watch on TV, in movies, and even when you surf online.  Keanu Reeves looks perfect in his Matrix eyewear because HE IS Keanu Reeves!  Unless you have the same face shape and skin color, DO NOT expect to look as great as Keanu or your other favorite stars when you put on their pair of trendy reading glasses.

Here are some tips you can refer to when choosing a new pair of reading glasses:

1.  Face shape - Know your face shape.  Stand in front of a mirror and determine if you have a round, a square, an oblong, a heart-shape, or a diamond face shape.  Also, check the widest portion of your face, as this will become your basis in choosing the perfect frame for your trendy reading glasses.

2.  Color of Your Skin - Your choice of color for your reading glasses should blend perfectly with the color of your skin.  They should mesh well; the color of your eye wear should bring out a vibrant and youthful look about you, not a worn-out appearance.  A “mixed up” look always distracts attention, and may not sit favorably with an employer who may be considering you for a position of authority in the office.

3.  Wardrobe - what is the dominant color of your wardrobe?  Choose trendy reading glasses that come in color variants that blend or complement nicely with your wardrobe.  One thing nice about reading glasses is their very affordable price.  It gives you more options to accessorize your clothes with a pair of reading glasses.

4.   Job Type - If your work requires you to travel a lot, you should consider trendy reading glasses that have sturdy frames and optical quality lenses that withstand the constant pack-and-go requirement of your job.  Plastic frames are lightweight, but they easily break and may not be advisable to be tossed a lot inside a suitcase!

Women’s Reading Glasses for Heart, Square and Diamond Face Shapes

How do you choose the best women’s reading glasses for face shapes other than round or oval?  It is helpful to know some tips that can come handy when you shop online for readers that you cannot try on.  Forum sites offer valuable information, so don’t skip those.  Read on for more tips culled from experiences of people who are constantly wearing glasses. Tips for Heart-Shaped Face Think how lucky some women are to have love written across their faces!  Heart-shaped faces always look great with the right reading glasses on; however, it is not always easy to find a suitable pair for a face that has a broad forehead and a narrow chin.  If you have this face shape, go for rimless reading glasses as these “minimize” the prominence of your forehead.  To create an illusion of a wider chin, women’s reading glasses with frames that are wider at the base are the best. Women’s Reading Glasses: Things You Might have Missed about Your Readers

Michal Marcol/FreeDigitalPhotos.net Not all women’s reading glasses are the same. Before you buy a pair of readers, you should know your exact need in seeing things clearly. Your Trendy Reading Glasses May be Bad for Your Eyes

As I clicked on close-up photos of trendy reading glasses on several websites, I saw some pieces of eye wear that matched my bags and shoes, and maybe worth my time to think about should I decide to buy additional pieces of fashion accessories.  Trendy reading glasses in stylish colors and designs give more definition to fashion that it's no longer a surprise why they are no longer listed as mere vision aids, but as fashion accessories. And since they are now used as fashion accessories, even kids in school uniforms are using them to spruce up their sense of style (and perhaps their IQ).  If you have kids who want to sport the whiz look (come on, we did it too!), but do not have the need to correct their vision yet, please discourage them.  Wearing a pair of reading glasses just for fashion purposes might do them more harm than good.  When in doubt, it is better to encourage your children to see their doctor for an eye exam before they place an order for ...
